What do you expect from me?

For right now, we expect you to be an excellent English speaker, an interested, hard-working, motivated, skilled, and knowledgeable individual with enough time to commit to this project. You also need to be willing to work with other people.

What should I take with me to the audition?

- Comfortable clothes

- Music (you are in charge of music, you can use your own or somebody else's)

- We'd prefer for you to bring in the filled form that can be found at the bottom of this announcement

When you get to the audition, you have to fill in the form below or preferably give the already filled form to us. You should be prepared to introduce yourself in Japanese, Korean, Chinese or English. After you've introduced yourself, we will go through the form you've filled.

It should be noted that the audition consists of only private (alone) performances.

The audition itself consist of three areas:

1. Spoken word. Perform us a rap of your choosing in Japanese, Chinese, Korean or English. If you perform in Japanese, Korean or Chinese, you don't need to remember/know all of the words.

2. Song. Perform us a song of your choosing in Japanese, Chinese, Korean or English. If you perform in Japanese, Korean or Chinese, you don't need to remember/know all of the words. No rap-music please – we already have time elotted to that.

3. Dance. 30Sec – 2min dance to a J-Pop, K-Pop or C-Pop song of your choosing. You have free hands on the choreography.

Evaluation and points:

Performance 1-10p. We judge on charisma, attitude and other resources.

Dance 1-10p. We judge on smoothness of movement, choreography and rhythmics.

Song 1-10p. We judge on pronounciation, intonation, rhetorics and lyricism (if you've written the lyrics yourself).

Rap 1-10p. We judge on pronounciation, intonation, rhetorics and lyricism (if you've written the lyrics yourself).

Group compatability 1-10p. We judge on interpersonal skills and willingness to co-operate.

Your final score will be 5 – 50. In the end, the choice will be made based on the bigger picture (all points and first impression). Please note that the skill level you've written on the form will be accounted for when we judge.

Mitä minulta odotetaan?

Lähtökohtaisesti vähintään hyvää englanninkielentaitoa, ahkeruutta, motivaatiota, kiinnostusta, taitoa, tietoa, aikaa ja sitoutumista sekä halua työskennellä muiden kanssa.

Mitä mukaan?

- Musiikki (vastaat musiikista itse, sekä oma että muiden musiikki käy)
- Mikäli ollenkaan mahdollista niin myös alla oleva lomake

Kun tulet paikan päälle joudut täyttämään alla olevan lomakkeen tai mieluiten annat valmiiksi täytetyt tiedot meille. Valmistaudu esittelemään itsesi japaniksi, koreaksi, kiinaksi tai englanniksi. Tämän jälkeen käymme lomakkeen yhdessä läpi mieluiten englanniksi.

Otathan huomioon että koko koe-esiintyminen koostuu vain yksilöesiintymisistä.

Itse koe-esiintyminen koostuu kolmesta osa-alueesta:

1. Puhuttu sana. Esitä vapaavalintainen rap-kappale tai pätkä rap-kappaleesta japaniksi, kiinaksi, koreaksi tai englanniksi. Jos laulun kielenä on japani, korea tai kiina niin kaikkia sanoja ei tarvitse osata/muistaa.

2. Laulu. Esitä vapaavalintainen kappale japaniksi, kiinaksi, koreaksi tai englanniksi. Jos laulun kielenä on japani, korea tai kiina niin kaikkia sanoja ei tarvitse osata/muistaa. Ei rap-musiikkia, sille on oma osionsa.

3. Tanssi: 30sec - 2min vapaamuotoinen tanssi johonkin J-Pop, K-Pop tai C-Pop kappaleeseen. Sovella koreografia itse.

Arviointi ja pisteet:

Esiintyminen 1-10p. Kriteerit ovat karisma, asenne ja muut valmiudet.
Tanssi 1-10p. Kriteerit ovat liikkeiden sujuvuus, koreografia ja rytmitaju.
Laulu 1-10p. Kriteerit ovat lausunta, intonaatio, retoriikka ja lyriikka (jos kirjoitat sanat itse).
Rap 1-10p. Kriteerit ovat lausunta, intonaatio, retoriikka ja lyriikka (jos kirjoitat sanat itse).
Ryhmään sopivuus 1-10p. Kriteerit ovat sosiaaliset taidot ja yhteistyökykyisyys.

Lopputuloksena olevat pisteet 5 - 50. Lopullinen valinta tehdään kokonaiskuvan perusteella (kaikki edelliset pisteet sekä ensivaikutelma). Huomaathan että lomakkeeseen täyttämäsi taitotaso missä tahansa osiossa otetaan huomioon ko. osion arvostelussa.
